Harghita-Bai is situated 22 km far from Miercurea-Ciuc, 46 from Odorheiu-Secuiesc. It lies in the Central Harghita, at the foot of the Harghita-Ciceu Peak (1,761 m).
The resort is famous for its kaolin exploitation, mineral water springs and mofettes. In winter-time it is the ski-paradise of the region, in summer-time it is a memorable place for people who would like to rest, and relax. The mofette is good for treatment for cardiovascular, nervous system and digestive affections.
Harghita-Bai is a suitable place for hiking.
